Blank application forms are available to any individual seeking employment at the Wayne County Engineer's Office. However, completed applications will only be accepted by the Engineer's Office during the posting period (typically 14 days). If the application is not received (post marked) within the posting period, it will not be considered for review. The current job openings are listed below with a brief job description. NOW HIRING SEASONAL HELP

FLAGGERS – Full-time, seasonal position; valid State of Ohio driver’s license with acceptable record; 18 years of age or older. Under direction, the employee performs unskilled and semi-skilled labor on county roadways, bridges and related areas. Guaranteed 40 hours per week and includes flagging traffic, setting traffic counters, painting, vehicle cleaning, mowing and other miscellaneous shop duties.

Pay: $15.00/hr.

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
